OK, personally I never doubted that he would be able to wrangle enough legaleze to loop himself out of the charge. It's the finger wagging session that most of us have as an image of his defense. Just can't shake that one. By the letter of the law, he's probably going to skate. By the spirit in which it was established, no way.

There are numerous examples of perjury acquittals and convictions. My favorite conviction is the expert witness who misidentified his college. On qualification examination, he said he attended X University, when he really attended X College. That was good enough for a couple of years in the pen.

The problem with Clinton, of course, is that he lied in response to a number of questions, not just one. Bye-bye Billy.
