8 years and doing better then ever........but it was a couple hundred thousand dollar learning experience in the early days...ie over trading and letting the emotions get the best of me..

Hello Steve, Discipline, patience, diligence, hard work, and perseverance is needed to be a successful DayTrader. Many people just don't have that...which is why they are not successful DayTraders.

I think the number is more like 70% - 30% failure-to-success rate. For those who fail, I believe that at least half of them could have been successful if they applied the requisite 'characteristics'.
