Two general observations: in the two weeks before earnings release the stock dropped 3 points. Then the disappointing earnings report had it down 2 points more. Since then, with the recent stampede in equip. stocks it has recovered to where it was before the earnings report, but not to where it was three weeks ago. This gives perhaps a hint that the earnings report was leaked. But probably not. Cohu is very well run, the market is volatile, and stocks move 10-20% all the time without any suggestion of why, so I am sure it is just coincidence.

2nd point, from the latest 10Q: "Sales of television cameras and other equipment decreased 13%." It's a much smaller division, true, but the camera division has a good reputation. No explanation given for the drop-off. I wonder if the camera segment of the electronics market is hurting too, or if Cohu has a specific problem there.
