It's part of my real time quote service. I usually check it when I see unusual activity in a stock or when I look at earnings plays. I also check it regularly on stocks that could be takeover candidates.

It's a good indicator for thin stocks like PM, although a lot of put buying could just be insurance for a fund or someone trying to get cheaper shares by selling puts.

Remember msft sells puts to either raise cash or buy stock at a lower price when it needs to buy shares for (employee) option plans.
