Hello Ann. It's no fun going to the Periodontist. gg. I taped on Friday and will check if I still have that Stock Picker's talk. I will do it before I send this post away. My son got a cpl of new Games and it's hard to throw him off the cpt in the evenings lately. He finally decided to go out. gg. Noon your time? Well, they had 2 guys on. First call in was on Intc. Money manager thought that Intel would be doing extremely well into the latter part of this year and early next year. He mentioned a revenue growth of 8 to 10% for Intel and rated the stock a buy. Next was Lucent. Likes Lucent a lot. Mentioned that LU is taking market share from competitors and would def. buy it at the right price. I guess we are on our own what the right price is. gg. Since I own it already I am not worrying where the right price is. Next was IOM. Had lots of stuff to say about it but in the end he would not buy it. Something like a show me attitude. New CEO should help but IOM has a hard road ahead. Courtney Smith on earlier Stock Talk likes Safeway, Barr LAB ( which I am thinking about) and Long Drug St. Other stocks mentioned during the afternoon were: IBM, Amat, Kla, Nokia, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Paine Webber and HD.
