Hi Duke, I've been watching the divergence between the Russell 2000 and the SP500, and then saw something the Tom Dorsey wrote up on the 19th of this month...if I recall correctly he takes the SP500 minus the Russell and then divides by the SP500 to get a percentage and plots that P&F wise. He has data back to 1987 and the chart is currently in X's, meaning that the large caps are the outperformers...

However it's in a high pole right now and could reverse at any time...when it does, it will signal the the small caps are returning to outperform the large caps...

If you are following Jan's recient portfolios, when we did a second screen and dropped anything that was not Valuenine 1 or 2 the performance greater than doubled for the past 3 weeks. This to me would tend to give a concurance with Tom's data....
