My thoughts exactly on a potential buyout. You know, Aware is located in Bedford, Ma. Analog Devices is based in Norwood, Ma. and Wilmington,Ma. Shear proximity would make a nice fit and Analog has already been working closely with Aware for some time. Then again, there is the recent Lucent rumors we all have seen regarding a possible Analog buyout. Maybe a package deal? (Lu, ADI, Awre). Then again..again, maybe Intel will just buy up all three. Intel is concerned about the internet bandwidth not keeping up with their high speed microprocessors and they do want to be a player in the DSP market where Lucent and Analog are #2 and #3 behind Texas Instruments. It really makes you think about the possibilities in the market.
