Hello Brooke,

Can you help?? A few days ago I had difficulty with QP sorting my QRS numbers. It would sort in columns: 99, 97, 8, 84, 6, 74.. etc.

Gary posted this line:

println Symbol , "," , " Close:,", Close(0) , "," , " Vol:,", vol(0) , " , " , " PE:,", PE , " , " , " QRS:,", QRS(0) , "," , " Sharesfloat:,", Sharesfloat , "," , description;
endif;

It solved the problem. However the problem has returned with this line. Can you spot what is amiss??

println Symbol , "," , Close(0):8:3 , "," , " Vol:,", vol(0) , " , " , " QRS:,", QRS(0) , " , " , " PE:,", PE:8:1, "," , IRLSymbol,",", IRLDailyIndex, "," , " Float:,", Sharesfloat:8:3 , "," , description;
endif;

All number columns sort in the same incorrect manner.

Thanks. Rashid

Nice work kids...uh, but you forgot one thing. The sink.

//this one's for ya'll

input="kitchensink.lst";
output="redhook.lst";

exchange=no deposit, no return;
issuetype=coders;

daystoload=weekend;
daysrequired=2;

float tired,head;
integer fill, dark,light,micro,perfect;

set sink strainer=closed;
set bottles=opened;

for fill = micro to perfect step 1 do

if head >= tired then
println fill dark;

else
println fill light;

endif;
next fill;
