My preference is to buy a Dell, I think the performance/price is outstanding (and as you say it will help us all in a small way). It's easy to be loyal when you're rooting for the best team! I'm like you in that I want to get the best setup available. That's why the Xeon looked good. I hope Dell will have a Xeon Dimension by the time I buy. It's possible the Xeon bug has been holding them back, although I see the Precision 410 is a PII also. This is a planned purchase so by the time I get around to it, it will probably be a XPS R500x. You must be having a ball with your new 450! Thanks for the reply,
