What is sad... for me... is I am going to be in Playa Del Carmen (thanks to some fortunately timed puts :) for the next week unless I decide to call it off at the last minute.

It doesn't look like it is headed there, but it seems it wants to make the weather kinda crummy for me during that time.

Nothing like a few good books, lazy sex, and all the booze I care to drink. :)

BTW bob... wunderground IS the best.

Boy I need this.

I just hope for a few days of hot hot sun.

Hurricane Mitch Advisory Number 10
Statement as of 5:00 am EDT on October 24, 1998

...Mitch strengthens rapidly into a hurricane....

Data from reconnaissance aircraft indicate that maximum sustained winds have increased to near 90 mph...150 km/hr...with higher gusts. Some further strengthening is forecast today.

Interests in the Western Caribbean should closely monitor the Progress of Mitch. A tropical storm watch or a hurricane watch could be issued for Jamaica later today.

The next advisory will be issued by the National Hurricane Center at 11 am EDT.
