To all shareholders Peterluke_99 Oct 24 1998 12:06PM EDT It is time to dot our i's and cross our t's, to make sure that your vote will count.interlog.com Most shares these days are held in street name. These shares are held by your broker or financial institution on your behalf. First download the Dissident Proxy link and print out one copy for each account you have. If the company has sent you 3 proxies then you need to print out 3 dissident proxies and fill them in, marking your voting instuctions clearly in the places provided. Make sure the account names are correct. Sign and date the Dissident Proxy. Fax your completed, signed, and dated Dissident Proxy to the broker or financial institution that is holding your shares, with instructions to VALIDATE THE PROXY AND IMMEDIATELY TAKE ALL NECESSARY STEPS TO ENSURE THAT YOUR VOTING INSTRUCTIONS ARE CARRIED OUT. To be counted at the meeting, your Dissident Proxy must be forwarded BY YOUR BROKER or financial institution to the transfer agent no later than 6:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (that's 3:00 P.M. Pacific) on WEDNESDAY, COTOBER 28, 1998! Please remember that no matter how many people are involved in the process of e-mailing your proxy, it must be at Montreal Trust by the above date and time. Please follow through and call for verification that your proxy has been sent through. If you have encountered problems, I recommend that you or your borker call ANY agent at Montreal Trust at (604) 661-1222. Their e-mail address is: faq@montrealtrust.com I understand that Montreal Trust has been so deluged with calls and faxes regarding our movement that they have committed ALL of their agents to handle the overwhelming load! Remember, it is your broker's responsibility to see that this process is followed through on your behalf. Please insist that it is faxed. Fax number: (604)683-3694 Montreal Trust Corporation 510 Burrard Street Vancouver, British Columbia Canada V6C 3B9 Finally, if anyone is having any problems of any kind, please, e-mail me. Peterluke@golden.net I will forward your problem or concern to a member of the group that can help. Finally, if you have run into a particular problem with a certain brokerage firm, and have solved the problem, please post this so all can read it and follow up the same way. Best regards, Aardvark
