Ken: Analysts, to me, are investigative sales people. What do I mean by that? Well, their job is to investigate all aspects of a stock issue. They then trundle back to home base, ie. the brokerage institution they represent, and proceed to come up with a recommendation for that houses clients, as well as the market at large. And these clients are not only the company they're investigating, but the investment community they represent. Think of them as a real estate broker, the go-between sitting firmly dead center between buyer and seller, making monies on both ends of the transaction.

And just like that real estate agent analysts like to do "walk throughs" of the property they may be selling. And the dream of every "agent" is to get their hands on a property that sells itself, and which can be seen to be in logical high demand. This is how I see VLNC, logically able to sell itself just by the placement of one of those batteries in the clients hand, with the force of this reality further augmented by showing the process by which that battery came to be. The sheer potential should be self-evident........Woooo hooooo, it's gonna be a GREAT 1999, eh? What a way to ring in the millennium!

At least, that's my view, heh! By the way, for those looking for other investment/speculative equities, you might take a look at Aware, Inc.,(AWRE). They've developed an elegant xDSL(specifically ADSL) technology the international community decided 2 days ago to back and which, too, LU is supporting. Why are they interesting? Their technology allows upwards of T1 speeds over twisted pair(standard telephone lines) for a distance of 18K feet from the central office, all the while also allowing for standard telephone usage to concurrently occur. Bottom Line? How would you like T1 speed access to the internet from your home at a reasonable(~$50 per month in Florida trials) rate? This should be a self-evident sale to AWRE's potential customer base, the LEC/CLEC community. But just like VLNC is(was?), they're a speculation so don't use the mortgage money.

Meanwhile, looking for good things out of VLNC for the month of Nov. Guess we'll seeeee.....

John~
