I tend to go along with the former (making me pro-choice) because, once again, women will seek abortions whether they're illegal or not.

That is my dilemma.Wish I had read this post before I posted to Mr.Pilch...I would of linked to this. Somehow no one wins.

Well said Borzou

If I understand the basis of your logic you are a supporter only because people will do it whether it's legal or not. Since you are a liberally fair person then, do you support anything that people are going to do whether its legal or not? If you do draw a line, would you mind terribly giving me a hint where it would lie. I am not being sarcastic here. All of your posts on this and other issues have indicated how accepting, and tolerant you are. I'm just wondering if you are able to define a limit on what you accept.

Borzou, you haven't met Eleanor Schmeal (sp?) President of NOW, or leaders of NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League). Why do you suppose these groups demanded that President Clinton serially veto the PBA ban passed by Congress?

re I do not know of anyone who supports the concept of partial birth abortion on demand.
