The overall accord looks pretty sown up. I'd like to make one teensy point though. The accord has to be publicly authorized by the Palestinian National Council. This is an Israeli demand. The Palestinian National Council, which includes expatriate Palestinians, some of whom are wanted as terrorism suspects, will not conviene as a whole, partly because of Arafat's fears that they would vote him out of office. The other reasons should be obvious.

Just a teensy clich. I can see why the media isn't making much of it. Gotta keep those confettie sales moving.
