what's the historical pattern for CSCO before and after earnings
are released. is there a sharp move upward a few days before
earnings and then a selloff after the news is out?
<<

Typically, the run up starts about a week before earnings.
CSCO CC's are pretty much identical every time - no surprises
usually. Sometimes there are profit takers after the release,
that's to be expected. Your best bet as always is to buy and
hold - CSCO will never disappoint the long term investor.

Mike,

One, five, ten years from now it will not make any difference
at what price you buy CSCO today. Just buy it and hold on
long term without paying much attention to the day-to-day
fluctuations. Over time it will be much higher as history has
attested too.

Best of luck, Allan
