I'm swamped with games right now - which I think is significant. Shogo is awesome and continues to steal cycles from the rest of my life. I'm sure that Heretic is great and Half-Life is just around the corner. Heck, I still haven't finished Ground Zero - the second Quake2 addon pack. We are truely in the heart of the Christmas gaming release frenzy. BTW, I get ADSL (384KB) and my 3.2MB wireless LAN equipment next week. Should help with those huge downloads. I got the following comments from my "source" late last night. Take these with a grain of salt because, while he has given me good info in the past, I can't vouch for him completely. (BTW, you can't really vouch for _me_ either!) =========================== (1) Banshee sales at retail are clobbering TNT. It isn't even close. EB sold more Banshee in the first day that TNT in the prior 4 weeks. (2) The new Banshee part will be shown at COMDEX. (3) So will the replacement to Voodoo2. It is significantly faster than SLI! (4) They now have three top OEM wins! One is a very recent win. We will get the news starting in a few days and the last will be a big deal - Huge conference at COMDEX (day 1)!
