jbe, there you go, trying to be all composed and rational. I admire your efforts, as always. I'd almost be willing to say I agree with you, but I wouldn't want to tar you with guilt by association. I'll just proceed with my normal fear mongering.

If anyone actually wanted to learn anything about this, I'd post the url to that book review again. The view presented there is consistent with what you say. Somehow, I don't think that's particularly appropriate here. I'd rather let mrknowitall lead the rightious Christians in their efforts to shove the gays back into the closet.

As far as all-male environments, there's two you don't mention that have lead to some problems. The Catholic priesthood and the military. My next-door psychologists, who do a lot of court testimony, tell me that the mother church has a bit of a liability situation that keeps growing and growing. As for the military, you have to figure that there couldn't possibly be a more hostile environment, but. . . it's all the liberals' fault, bunch of moral reprobates that they are.

Sorry to fan the flames, you're welcome to engage Johannes Pilch if you want. I'm doomed to burn in hell anyway since I cut mass for the past 20-odd years.

Cheers, Dan, your hot button rabble rouser of the week.
