Bobby See what you are saying. This does appear to be a different situation in that mac has broken out over it trading envelope (like bolinger bands).It would appear that this rise already has displayed greater strength(turnaround time) On the july 20 attempt mac barely got above the lower envelope line-this showed weakness in rally attempt. Would expect to see mac float along upper band-short term - dip into envelope find support at lower envelope line and intersection of 50 day ma. If support occurs there please tell me how to buy S&P 500 long options -cause we got a tiger by the tail then. Dec 98 late - jan 99 early Yehaww. P.S. thanksfor all your posts and help Bob
