marty, i use caps when i need to. only when i need to. people who incapable of understanding a sentence not starting with a capital notwithstanding (ie, you!). ;-)

second, yup, your shoulda been you're. as you can see, i didn't proofread for typos. i still won't. i don't use this forum to practice perfect spelling nor as a means to develop some sort of puffed up intellectual pride regarding spelling. when spelling is important then i spell correctly.

as for "ad hominem," just admit that in your (your spelled correctly lest you get too excited ;-) self induced intellectual stupor you don't know what it means. funny, before telling me that ad hominem isn't a word you at least ought to have asked somebody what it meant. funny, you calling me ignorant in the same post where you utterly expose your own ignorance. arrogance, too. just b/c you don't understand something or are incapable of finding it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

the difference between what you accuse me of and what you are clearly guilty of is that my issues are of little relevance to expressing ideas (except to the linguistically retarded). sharing ideas is the real reason i participate on si. the ignorance that you display utterly is an idea vacuum.

you make sure your punctuation is correct, you double check your typos and insult those who don't while you don't comprehend a thing.

you don't even know it, either. not a clue. you look in an english dictionary for a latin expression, don't find it and say that it isn't a word. when you can't find it you use that as proof it doesn't exist and use that to try another ad hominem (try again, marty. i think you can find out what it means. after all, you are so smart ;-) attack on me. you are transparent.

not once have you debated an idea. i now know that is b/c you have none. it all fits together now very nicely. ;-)

i won't sell what i own b/c picking off guys like you is way too easy ;-)

btw, marty, i said "ad hominem" and not "hominem." surprised somebody of your intellect couldn't tell the difference especially in light of how you stick to such details. oh, that's right, you didn't know what it is and used your ignorance as an excuse for a personal attack. wow, what an example of such outstanding character. NOT!

marty, when in a glass house, don't throw stones. i had to look through a whopping two posts of yours to find this linguistic assassination...

you wrote...

>>I do say again, however, that these
testimonials are not nothing and I HOPE the FDA takes this type of thing into
consideration.<<

not nothing. hmmmmmm. not nothing. now that is a creative way to butcher the english language, marty. double negatives. from a linguistic knight in shining armor, nonetheless.

not nothing. does that mean something, marty? two whole posts to find you butchering proper english with a double negative. don't tell me, you probably also think "irregardless" is a word, don't you... ;-)

seems that you have some type of intellectual inferiority complex that you try to subconsciously ignore by attacking others. one word of advice. become secure in yourself. live and let live. you are not superior b/c you use caps and i don't (there is a very good reason why i don't use caps except when necessary). even if you were, i made a conscious choice not to use caps on si. did you make a conscious choice to say "not nothing" instead of something? if one is ignorant then one can't make a choice. funny, i've made a choice and you didn't. and you call me ignorant? how quaint.
perhaps you could let me know where you enroll to get your education that, by your own standards, you so desperately need. maybe i should enroll. i've thought about getting my masters for a while. maybe it is time to do something. oh, i guess you ought to sell all your holdings just like you recommended to yours truly. except, in your case that's probably be a good idea... ;-)

focus on the big stuff and not the little stuff. if you do focus on the small stuff, please make sure that your "small game" is intact. otherwise the impression you leave is one of a big hypocrite.

maybe that was your intent. if so, well done, marty. well done.

ps - if you still don't know what ad hominem means, let me know and i will tell you. it occurs a lot. if you are going to do it you might as well know what it is.
