Someone picked up 17,000 shares at the ask after the close. Could be a good sign for tomorrow.

Looks like most of the institutional filings are in for the second quarter. According to stocksmart, institutional holdings moved from 341,000 shares to 2,675,350 shares.

"15 Institutions hold 12.95% of the outstanding shares as of June 30,1998. Of these, 10 established new positions while 0 liquidated their holdings. Overall, Institutions increased their holdings by 628.89% for the period."

This does not include the Mutual fund holders that don't seem to have updated lately on stocksmart. According to the Kaufman Brothers material, mutual funds own 456,000 shares, with VICSPGR (anyone know who they are?) registering that they bought 150,000 shares in the that second quarter.

The Kaufman Brothers material also states that KeyCorp Bank also purchased 506,000 shares in the second quarter and this institution is not shown in the Stocksmart list. This would increase the numbers stated above and would make them the largest shareholder ahead of Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter that purchased 503,700 shares second quarter and Columbus Circle Investors that purchased 500,000 shares second quarter.

The institutional buys for the third quarter will start to trickle in about 3-4 weeks.
