ROFL. Very appropriate, but alas, we all know that this is the modus operandi of one of the most disgusting hypesters around. Fortunately, he is not talented enough to develop unique styles and the list of manipulators he has created gets longer, the losses to innocent investors increases, and the noose is getting tighter... <s>

4. Use multiple handles, but develop a unique style for each. 5. Use multiple ISPs.

Your correspondent makes a great many excellent points. I especially liked:

18.Use questions to invoke critical thinking and use statements to reinforce.

Hey, the object of the exercise is to invoke critical thinking. Do you seriously believe there's something wrong with that?

19.You can be liberal in your questions but be specific and precise in your statements.

Another extremely well-taken point.

9. Know your enemies - they will end up being your best weapons.

This applies to you, Cav. And to the Stooges.

20.Don't lie

I never do.

22.When slamming, discourage people from taking the company's word - encourage them to seek outside proof. If the company's history is bad, point them there.

And why not? The past is prologue. You may remember what a hard time people gave us for bringing up the "past" in the MTEI case. Further: it goes without saying that independent verification is preferable to a chat with the CEO. Would you seriously contend, Cav, that the Wise Investor listens only to the Company, attempts no research, and disregards any other information that may come into his purview?

26.And above all else, be unpredictable.

This one puzzles me, though. Why be unpredictable? Unless the reference is to 8. Do not show all your cards at once when slamming a stock. It's a war - it's ok to lose a battle as long as you save enough ammo to win the war.

An extremely interesting PM, though. Thanks for sharing, Cav...
