The quick answer is that the only 8 meg version I've seen anywhere is an OEM pack from Creative Labs ( and I've never seen that indicated to be "instock" at any online site I've visited). The 16 megs may help if you're playing a game with huge textures, but your processor will be a limitation there anyways. The good news is that if you upgrade your motherboard, you'll get even more performance out of your videocard.
