Bre-x is small compared to the losses of these three:
Cendant, Oxford Health, Mercury Finance.

And if you want LTCM?

We all know that the world biggest scams come from the NASDAQ?
In 1994, a show called "Nightline" said that over 40Billion USD a year are done in market manipulation just on the Nasdaq.

Tom : Bre-X is far from the only one --- although the worst. Chart after chart of the Canadian juniors show that there was more investor blood shed on the TSE and the VSE than in Bosnia!

I have been reminded a few times, on this group, that the VSE is no longer a respectable word in investment circles.

PS. I hadn't read Hutch's post when I wrote this. So, Bre-X was not the worst --- every day one learns something new.
