LT - Are saying that Sig would have been better off selling at 45 0r 50 and buying in at 57? See most of us try to Buy Low, Sell High! Not the other way around but, you are the "180 Man"! According to your previous posts to me (see below), you have ascertained a Dell price of "last stop" in the 50's before decline and a fall to 30's Now I know your timelines are screwed up but, I'm trying to ascertain baseline for the LT coefficient [(V*LT)+V] = (Future Stock Value), with regard to the LT Index (Up means down, down means up). With your recent numerical index of 30s when the stock is now 50's, can we assume to increase the projected value by 30 points giving a future LT index of 90's? Future Value = (V*1/2)+V, Let V = Current Value or 57 and the LT coefficient = 1/2 (determined by your consistent 180 off and half valuation of the stock price) Thus 57*1/2 = 27.5 27.5+57 = 84.50 of Future Value. However to publish this for the Society for Stock Indicators we need to incorporate a Time Value in the equation. More study is needed to determine "How screwed up you time indexes are" in order to reach another LT coefficient sufficient to complete the study and hence sharing with the rest of the investment community.
