For whatever reason, PE's in this sector are shrinking. 1997 was the year for this sector, 1998 is not. But 1999 may again be a good year.

None-the-less, we should be at $25 soon at least temporarily.

I agree with you that the higher the volume, the more efficient the market will be. But I don't think the manipulations of the institutions have as much influence on the price movements as do the persistent presence of a large short interest. It was short-selling and covering that was responsible for the huge swings we've seen this year. The shorts certainly had a good case this Spring (I wish I had acted on it).

But I am surprised that the short interest is still so large, and that it increased in October. Why are one-fifth of this company's shares sold short, at this time going into their best quarter? This fact (thanks Andrew for reporting it) more than anything makes me wary. Although the message boards are dominated by bulls there obviously exists a huge population of THQ skeptics. What do they see that we bulls don't? Unfortunately for our thread the only consistent bear we have now is obviously a child, from whom we learn nothing.
