Folks, take a walk through history. I did some major research last night and thought you'd like to save this list for your scrap books on the debate in April and May about the future market crash predictions via LT. It was an embarrassing experience for me (read one of my responses listed below).

I am trying to review all the reasons we think this market will crash and trying to confirm my positions at this time. I feel we are coming to a critical point in the next week or two. Either LT and most of us will be wiped out (who think the market will dump) if we don't cover ourselves, or we will be rich. This is NOT just idle chatter. We need to put our collective heads together and decide what the possibilities may be.

Why we could rally here:
1. Low interest rates/future Fed cuts.
2. No inflation.
3. Japan seems to be getting its act together.
4. Most SE Asian currencies getting stronger.
5. IMF/US bail out of Brazil being organized.
6. Most recent earnings have either met or beat expectations thus far.

LT you did an excellent job predicting this and gave an outstanding explanation as to WHY it would happen (see our 5/1 post below) before. Could you give us the same now with an update on changes since then?

Now for the history lesson:
