Dave, Anything is possible and once you forget that, you lose your objectivity. Now to confuse you even more, I got my first VIX buy signal since early July... On top of that, the VIX RSI is breaking down so as to show a topping action that both Donald and I see. If we break 8,700 to the upside... then I think we will regain our old highs. Only if we got much below 7,900 in the next week or so would I be concerned about getting below 7,400... but I do NOT see any indication that will happen any time soon. Bill
