Some thoughts: There seems to be some activity that trends toward an aquistion annoucement. I have seen an significant upward trend in lagre block buys (large for this company I catagorize as 10K+). The largest buy I have observed was 41400 @9.5 last week. This is unusual compared to activity over the last months. I still see individual buys, but 10 to 40K hits means knolwedge buys. CS had an excellent Interop, lots of activity and presence. If this company was being scripted for sale the following steps would have to be done (or percieved to have been done):
#1- Show technology leadership -Yago, Netva, SSR - all well respected and valuable, not from just a product perspective but also from a talent pool. Anyone buying this would need confidence in the engineer staff. They have demo'd that they are credible.
#2- Business control- A good qtr, signs of this qtr being good...Sales penetration etc.
#3- Management expertise- They have added some reasonable talent that from a buyers perspective would have value.

Additionally I cannot see Benson staying on forever, He needed to place the biz in a position to launch the stock appreciation. He has done that with the activity last week. If the trends continue this week, look for a strong ramp thru an annoucment. I would anticipate the buy volume to ramp quickly.

Any other opinions?
