peter,

I considered shorting a few hundred shares of BRKa, but Warren has too much of the fund invested in commodities (gold, silver, etc.), and too much in bonds.

Not volatile enough for me.

Have fun,
Phil

P.S. If you believe that, I have some shares of a bridge in Brooklyn I am trying to dump, er, I mean sell.

In a poor man's hedge fund, why not Short BRKb?
Peter, I agree with you on this one (beware!) and I have been short BRKb for some months now, to balance some long positions in real mutual funds trading at prices easier for me to understand. Q&R online doesn't seem to mind shorting small odd lots. -- Shoe
