You are welcome LG...

And my MS package allows me to use just about anything against anything... unless the indicator is only designed to be used against a stock or index.... some of them like RMI also work with the indicators themselves!

I certainly am not where you are in terms of reliable indicators... I have developed a few recently which seem to work and I can backtest back to 1972... I have that much data in my database for DOW.

VIX came to me from my Bernie Schaeffer subscription... learned some of the things he does with that indicator but have branched out on my own as far as using it for various TA purposes...

Hi LG, was just looking at a scan I ran on increasing revenues for companies with quarter ending 9/30.

Wondering if anyone noticed that while the annual sales of MSFT increased over last year the quarter ending 9/30 DECREASED over the prior quarter.

We may be just now starting to see decreasing sales due to Asian problem.

July & August is in the 3rd qtr and could be why many cos 3rd qtr results are better than expected.

In other words, if we could see monthly sales on these cos it might very well be BAD!
