I don't know if these people work out of the SF office, but some of them are quite well known, e.g. Mark Simon, ELizabeth Silverman. Wall Street listens, when Elizabeth Silverman speaks. I remember when she gave a 'buy' on AFFX last year, the price jumped to $50 (Should have sold then!).
