Don't think so, Osci -- looks and behaves more like Pascal.
The API dlls are in BC++, VB, and VC,, but Gary has never said what language the programs are written in.
The scan pgm is an interpreter and doesn't 'shortcut' evaluate the conditions, so you do want to put complicated calcs within nested ifs:
if cond1 then if cond2 //do something
endif; endif;
instead of
if cond1 and cond2 //do something
endif;
