stir things up so we can get on the hot list again.

The two Bobs share the admirable trait of having the courage of their convictions, to go out on a limb, however tenuous it might be, and stake their respective claims to a clear, unequivocal market prognosis. Brinker did so two weeks ago, in the shadows of, "doomsday on wall street", as has been well documented in this thread. Prechter is doing so now, in the euphoria of "the bottom is in."

The other Bob's analysis of the rally from October 8 is that if a Wave 2, retracing most of Wave 1 down, to be followed by a devastating Wave 3 to new lows.

This is not an endorsement nor advocation if Prechter's view, but an example of how both Bobs, unlike most every other market pundit, amateur or pro, adhere to principle over emotion in their analysis. Of course, Prechter is going into his 12th year of being on the wrong side of this market, so perhaps his adhering to principle is now bordering on psychotic, but nonetheless, he too deserves to be called, "Bob."

Justa,

>>>
Kirk: Re: "We'll just climb a wall or worry to new highs! BTW, Do you get the impression Lars likes Brinker?"

Yes, these guys represent the fact to me that there is still plenty of money to be mad e in the market.
>>>
Oh there is plenty of money to be made. The key is being in position to take advantage of the opportunity. The last two weeks is the perfect example esp. if you are in semis. BTW, I still have a big time watermelon smile because of the semis Justa. How about you?

N.B. I am not advocating buying any of the semis. The bargains have subsided imho for the ST.

>>>
Lars is an out of control Brinker fan by design.
>>>
You know it! For the record I am a skeptic by nature. Bob is the real thing. IMHO he is unmatched.

I consider myself a VERY LUCKY person to have found Warren Buffett and Bob Brinker. The synergy of knowledge from both of them has allowed me to gain stellar returns. Not just in the years when the market went to the moon. I still don't think people realize the value of the information that is at their fingertips.

>>>
And I am sure he was disappointed that Brinker did not bash and trash the bears too much on Saturday. I was disappointed as well.
>>>
I was disappointed. He is too kind. Like I have said the guy is real.

I tell you one thing. If I had taken the junk thrown at Bob (SI and elsewhere) I would be stuffing it back in someone's face bigtime right now. Not only did these ignorant jerks attack Bob's logic but they launched ad hominem attacks. Pathetic! What a joke!

Besides that he deserves national recognition. He was alone being bullish. We all know the truth about AJC.

>>>
Is this the kinder, gentler Brinker designed by Disney/ABC radio and sought by all his thread critics? Has Brinker lost his edge? How humble can Brinker get with his market call?
>>>
I want the old Bob. The "give 'em hell" Bob. Period. How can he resist setting the record straight? I personally don't like this humble Bob Brinker thing. No way. I hope he lets the bears have it. People need to know the truth. This wasn't about justa market call. No. It became personal.

Give 'em hell Bob!!!!!

>>>
I mean he should stand up and say: "I told you so" for three hours and talk about da bears. Screw these phone calls. Did we hear about the great panic from James Cramer on CNBC when he pulled out of the market in early October? No.
>>>
He should talk about this for multiple weekends imho. I mean these bears are worse than the Chicago Bears. Now that takes some doing. Hmmm. Isn't Finnegan in Pru's Chicago office? Has he been hanging out at Soldier Field?

>>>
We did hear about Ralph in-again, out-again Finnegan. But there was no great detail about his many calls and we certainly did not go over it enough for my liking and I have to wonder whether Brinker took a swipe at my heritage by suggesting that Acampora was Irish.
>>>
You got that right. I am about ready to throw potatoes for Bob if he won't. He is being toooooo damn kind. Period.

>>>
I am not sure what to make of this but I know one thing. Lars and I like to make -- strike "make" -- stir things up so we can get on the hot list again.
>>>
That's right. Someone has to let the world know Bob kicked @#$ and took no prisoners except for his bear skin rug "Ralphie".
