MICAP, yes and no. Lots of info can be determined from IP/resistivity studies but lots of limitations.

In this case of Lipangue, lots of surface indications suggest the presence a porphyry deposit that was formed by intensive hydrothermal processes. Often you can tell what a feature is by following its IP signature until it outcrops on the surface. Using this info and established geologic models, you have a very good idea on what's down there. Also recall that one drill hole was already drilled in the pipe prior to MDIN's ownership that showed copper/gold minerlization. Gold/copper has been found all over the surface, its located in placers downstream, it has mined for hundreds of years in nearby mines. How much evidence do you need?

Well, in any case, looks like 4 majors are convinced that something big is down there as well.
I suspect that are discussing/proposing joint venture agreements with MDIN. I guess if they pay for the drilling, they will become a % partner.
I think this is why the drilling has been delayed thus far.
