Human trials/testing will take place WITHIN 1 year.

You must mean you're guessing 2 years to market by being fast tracked by the FDA because human trials will start far before that.

From the latest news report by Bloomberg:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A new study of EntreMed's Endostatin is slated to be presented at the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons, being held in Orlando, Florida next week. The study, done in genetically engineered mice, is expected to confirm results of earlier animal research indicating Endostatin is a potent tumor shrinker, said Mary Sundeen, director of research operations and communications at EntreMed.

"The first-ever human trials are set to start within the next 12 months, Sundeen said."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

"Within the next 12 months" implies that human trials may start BEFORE 12 months from now...and that is really exciting and much sooner than I had anticipated.

I thought maybe your conversation might have revealed how soon within the next twelve months human trials might start.

Thank you.

What type of vectors are they using? I thought they were doing more protein injection? I agree with the problems with current gene therapy, but some day these obstacles will be hurdled. Has anyone confirmed that Folkman really posts on yahoo? Maybe my skepticism is uncalled for. Thanks a bunch. Best of Luck, Where'd He Go?
