Aren't earnings this Thursday after the close? Who is selling on the news? Why would anyone hold? I still think we are going to fill the gap between $10 and $13.

William,

I agree. As an ex-institutional investor, almost all of my customers would tell a friend about their favorite companies (after they had established close to a full position) based on the fact that they want company, added volume gets even larger mutual funds to take a peak, etc., etc. Now is you had info that was potentially questionable in origin (I could understand a persons reticence.)

Case in point, I was playing EGGS and AFCI, and I found out from an ex-colleague that both companies were speaking at an investor conference in NYC, I posted it and money was made by those who observe and contribute to the post.

Moral: our impact on an individual stock that trades volume is very insignificant.
