>>>I can't see paying your bills electronically the day their due for a fee when you can call in a check that wont get presented for 2-3 days and costs you nothing?

Hmmmmm....nothing...stamps? checks? time? (FYI...Jan 1st 1999 stamps will be 33 cents). Not to mention AT&T will give you a dollar if you pay electronically.

Many banks have free bill pay (NetBank, Wells, etc..), although bill presentment is the pot of gold everyone is chasing.

>>>$6-$18 in about 2 weeks

Well, it went from 25 to 10 in 2 weeks, and kept going down to six.

Benny(just my thoughts)

I pay my bill when I want, don't pay no fee including postage to pay them...what are you talking about? In fact I don't pay bills I instructed CheckFrees e-bill system to do that for me after I set the paramaters reguarding payments.

I only have one question left...how do you, call in a check?

Trying to describe eating ice cream, in the 1540's sounds like to me...

Ummmmm, you're wrong on each of those I think.

1) It's a lot cheaper to pay online (no cost of checks, stamps, and envelopes). 2) I pay online and the money doesn't actually leave my account until the person I am paying receives it. That's no different than writing a check.
