Marc Andreeson's Notes:

From MSNBC (DJNW)

The notes of the June meeting written by Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen reflect the Microsoft proposal in the form of a question: “Would you be interested in having a partnership where (Netscape) gets all the non-Win95 stuff and (Microsoft) gets all the Win95 stuff?”

Several sentences later, Andreessen describes the threat: “Threat that (Microsoft) will own the Win95 client market and that (Netscape) should stay away.”
