A post from Yahoo-comments about selling for a small gain are particularly relevant.

Dennis, thx for your call for moderation. It is obvious that we would have been wise to take your balanced approach over the last two years. However, there may be several forces at work that could significantly move the stock as Kharnack suggests.
Here are a few:
1-As Lev said, they have been working for 9 years on this technology and have encountered and solved numerous problems along the way. They patented the solutions.
2-As a result, Lev indicated that it would be very difficult for anyone to go very far with this technology without stepping on one or more of their patents. Their Manganese Oxide patent would appear to force others to use higher priced materials.
3-Back in August they were already discussing pricing, delivery schedule, terms and conditions etc. It is rumored that they have turned down several contract offers because they are allowing time for major industry customers to finish their testing.
4-The significant purchases by four insiders is a very strong statement by those who know firsthand whether the company will succeed. Compare insider buying with ULBI over the same period.
5-With analysts invited to visit starting last week, we should expect those who saw automated production from start to finish to be rather impressed.
6-I expect the analysts should see an easy $2 per share in earnings, which would justify $50 per share for late next year. They will likely determine that line 1 alone can more that triple the earnings required to become profitable.
7-There is solid evidence that they are for real this time. Investors of many categories will want in.

For these reasons I suggest we avoid selling for any small gains and look for tripling and quadrupling of todays share prices while adding to our positions while we can. As you say Dennis, don't get giddy, just don't let someone else enjoy the move to $50 with your stock- hang on to it!>>
