Clinton's crimes were much worse. Clinton perjured himself several times in a civil sexual harassment case filed under a Federal Civil Rights statute and then committed serial perjuries before a criminal grand jury. >>1. In these cases they may well have been in borderline criminal violation, in that the act itself was against the rules, but in the case of Lewinsky nobody has tried to make the case that the sex itself was illegal. The perjury is illegal.
