And another thing...read this real 'slow-like' and take it all in.<vbg>

Steven:

Here is a very interesting take on things which would certainly help Dell to go way beyond $75.00 (just my prediction for Nov.).This opinion is not to be taken lightly as this comes from a company who is the middle of it all-Claremont Technology, believe me they should know about the Y2K spending and how the funds will be spent.

BTW I lifted this post from CBSI thread, the 'bold' thing is my doing.<g>

Ram, two things on Claremont:

1. Great revenue growth: clrmnt.com

2. From New York times article:

"Much corporate spending seems to be going not toward repairs but toward avoiding the problem by buying new computers and software."

From Claremont:

"Much has been written about the coming of the year 2000 and the inability of many mainframe legacy computer systems to accommodate transactions in the twenty-first century. Companies are spending literally billions of dollars to "fix" this problem, while at Claremont we take a different view. We are working with our clients not to fix the problem by adding another layer of technological glue to an already cobbled together system, but to eliminate the problem by replacing these aging systems with new client/server technology. By taking this approach, our in-volvement with the client doesn't end in 2000... it begins."

Hi!!!

I will never forget the look on your face that night in Bachman's room when you took off the glasses..of course I took a photo of it.....turned from the computer and smiled....you didn't smile because of what you saw in your portfolio...you smiled because you knew it was just the beginning...our trip down there proved one thing to all of us...

DELL IS THE NEXT...........DELL
