For any engineer who wants to understand all of the details of CDMA cell systems and IS-95, the Viterbi book is excellent. Everything you ever wanted to know (except link budget models), and very well written. Clark PS As for the pointer to the Viteri algorithm, it's no wonder that all the books I have just gloss over it instead of explaining it. It looks like it would take a day or two to truly understand it. Thanks Michael P.
