The big selloff we had a few weeks ago in the Nasdaq, and to a lesser extent in the S&P, occurred right after a full moon.

Speaking of cycles, Hurst in his classic "The Profit Magic of Stock Transaction Timing", written in 1970, claimed that each stock has its own set of cycles ("envelopes"), and that if you can line up the short, medium and long term envelopes when you buy or sell, you can increase the accuracy of your trading.

Does anyone know of a software package that can do this, namely, for a given stock, graph the particular set of cycles/envelopes that it moves to?
