No offense, but I see Jim pull this stunt all the time. He says he's
got the inside source on AMD, or that his predictions are backed
by "inside information", "chicken bones", and what have you, but
he never says what that inside information really is.

I beg your pardon. I've said that the new code K6-2-400 will roughly be equal to the Pentium II-400 where as without the new code, a K6-2-400 would underperform the Pentium II-400. I do not know any exact figures. This is common knowledge.
Have to wait for the introduction like you do.
