ThermaCell Opens First VaxCell(TM)
Manufacturing Facility

SARASOTA, Fla., Oct. 26, /PRNewswire/ -- ThermaCell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLL -news, VCLLW - news) announced that within the next four weeks it plans to open its first manufacturing facility for the volume production of its innovative VaxCell(TM) microspheres, a more effective and less expensive material that can be used to increase the insulation value of paints and coatings and the strength of building products. The Company anticipates that the plant will add $1 - $3 million in revenues over the course of the next 12 months.

The 4,000 square foot facility in Sarasota will enable the Company to initiate production of its VaxCell(TM) microspheres for use in its enhanced paints, coatings and building materials, which will be sold by its Atlas, Scientific Coatings, and Ladehoff paint subsidiaries as well as by Sealco Systems, Inc. and T-Coast Pavers, Inc., two pending acquisitions in the commercial sealing and paving businesses. Production will also help expand margins by reducing the need
to purchase more costly raw materials and will help expand revenues through sales to chemical companies for use in other products. In addition, the facility will function as a pilot for a large-scale plant and for research and development to create new VaxCell(TM) applications and markets.

''This is an important milestone for us,'' said John Pidorenko, Chairman, President and CEO.''We have spent the past two years building our distribution and refining the technical aspects of
our product. With this new facility, we can begin to realize a return on our investment and pursue our strategy of growth and product innovation.''

Initially, VaxCell(TM) production will be 200-300 pounds per day, as the engineering and production processes are fine-tuned, and will increase to the rate of 3-4 million pounds per year. The pilot facility will employ a supervisor and chemist; staffing is expected to grow as commercial production and research operations begin. The large production facility is planned for completion in approximately 12 months from the end of the pilot phase and will have a one-shift capacity of 20 to 30 million tons per year. The expected cost of the pilot manufacturing facility is $500,000 and the company expects the full-scale facility to cost approximately $2 -$3 million.

ThermaCell Technologies, Inc. is a vertically integrated manufacturer and marketer of technologically enhanced coatings and building materials that provide greater insulation, protection, strength, longevity and value at a lower cost than conventional materials.
