why does MU almost always open late? it seems it usually opens about 5+ minutes after the market.

ps. a stopped clock is right twice a day, a broken clock might always be wrong

IMHO, the "die is cast". There is less fab capacity today than there was one year ago, demand will catch-up with supply, and suppliers will bring on additional wafer capacity only when profitable.

Now if you listen to Dataquest, this will all happen by the end of 2000. But then, who listens to Dataquest anymore?

The world is not coming to an end. Silicon usage will continue to grow and grow and grow and along with it, so will memory (ie Micron)

""Die" Hard" silicon nut here. (double pun)
