With what cash do people expect the company to repurchase shares? While it is hopeful that they will be raking in the dough soon, they must currently use every penny to reinvest in areas which will grow the company past the year 2000. This is much more important to the livelihood of the company than announcing a stock buyback. Gruder's buying for his personal holdings is a different matter- he said he would be buying and my belief is that he probably bought a pathetically small number of shs. (probably fewer than most of the loyal readers of this thread have bought in the past month). This looks lame and should never have been announced, but my guess is the company was probably trying to "show confidence" and give an excuse to put out some encouraging words.
