Somethings cookin here-- Sunday November 1, 1:58 am Eastern Time Company Press Release IKAR To Obtain $3.5 Million in Equity Financing VAN NUYS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 1998--(IKAR-OTC) Today management announced that they have been offered $3.5Million of equity financing by Global Business Partners, Inc. of Van Nuys, California and preliminary negotiations are currently in progress. This financing will accelerate the progress of the company's work program currently underway in Tajikistan. (See previous news releases). Arrangements for this financing are being negotiated on a ''project royalty participation'' which will not dilute current shareholders. It is anticipated that this financing will transact within the next 30 days and that work at the Tajikistan sites will continue on schedule.
