Slowly but surely...

All seven models take advantage of Seagate's leadership in interface development, available with either Ultra2 SCSI or Fibre
Channel-Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) connectivity. The Ultra2 SCSI implementation leverages Seagate's advanced work with
the interface to again deliver true 80 Mbyte/second support and full support of low-voltage differential (LVD) technology. The
FC-AL interface, launched to the industry by earlier Seagate Barracudas, is the industry's first to incorporate Public Loop
Support (PLS) for greater connectivity, scalability and networkability.

To All,

The October, 1998 issue of InfoStor magazine has a new Ancor ad on Page 7. It is very nicely done. It is a full page ad, with a full color picture of the MKII-8. There is also a smaller picture of the MKII-8 and the MKII. (Finally, the beatnik is gone, and there is a picture of the switch!!! <g>)

Also of interest was that they list their U.S. offices.

Bedford, NH
Fountain Valley, CA
Minneapolis, MN
Ridgefield, CT
Roswell, GA
San Jose, CA

Were these all on the web site before?
