To all: I think a lot of small traders were planning to play the old
cycle again last week, but this time it didn't behave. Now they're
all jumping in to cover, plus lurkers who've decided it's getting
ripe, and possibly a few institutions who want to get in early to
keep their average down. This huge volume speaks volumes. Nevertheless
it's a little early to start the celebration; how it sustains itself
today will be a telling sign.

HC: The spread is extraordinarily tight. But there's lot'sa resistance at $6, so I'd be surprised to see it break through today, at least based on what it's doing right now. This afternoon my "gut" is expecting the MM's to widen the spread. If they do then I'd see that as a signal that today's run is over. But that'd be only for today, heh!

Let's see how it goes.
